The 2016 SLK-Class comes in three distinct trims. The SLK350, SLK55 AMG, and the all-new SLK300. The SLK300 replaces the SLK250 because the name better reflects the power and capabilities of the SLK-Class.

Each model comes with a unique engine. The SLK300 features an efficient 1.8-liter I4. The SLK350 gets an upgrade to a 3.5-liter V6, producing 302 horsepower. The powerful SLK55 AMG features a 5.5-liter V8 with 415 horsepower.

As a brand new addition to the SLK-Class, a 9-speed automatic transmission is the standard option. This transmission shifts faster than the blink of an eye and provides exemplary comfort in the SLK-Class. For the sport enthusiast, a manual transmission is also available in the SLK300.

The last SLK in history is available in three trims, included in which will be a brand new SLK300. Previously, this model was known as the SLK250, but has been changed for 2016 to better represent the power range of the SLK. This distinction means the 2016 SLK300 will be the only example of that model to come from Mercedes-Benz, increasing the rarity and value. Above the SLK300, are the SLK350, and the SLK55 AMG. The SLK350 features a 3.5-liter V6 with 302 horsepower. For the AMG, a 5.5-liter V8 provides 415 horsepower. 

Two new colors are added to the pallet for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class in Scottsdale AZ. Steel Grey and Palladium Silver have been replaced with Selenite Grey Metallic and Magno Shadow Grey.
