2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Release Date and Pricing Information

2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Release Date

Although it may seem like old news already, the M-Class Mercedes-Benz is no more. It is being replaced by the new GLE-Class SUV and GLE-Class Coupe. Mercedes-Benz has been talking about it for what seems like an eternity, yet the GLE still isn’t available for purchase in the U.S. We already know everything about it from the Dynamic Select Features to exterior dimensions, but we still can’t buy one! The GLE-Class is even in the running for the North American Truck of the Year, and already had a starring role in Jurassic World. The best thing we can do is keep talking about it until it becomes a reality. Are you wondering when the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class release date is?

Like the also new GLC-Class, the GLE is the newest in Mercedes-Benz technology. New features that we have never seen before will be all over the new SUV and coupe models. COMAND Navigation, new smartphone features, and LED lighting are all things we can look forward to. Five engines are to be offered with the new Mercedes-Benz, which will come with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission.

2016 GLE Release Date

Maybe we underplayed how close the release date actually is. The end of July is upon us and we are excited to say that Mercedes-Benz promised us the GLE in early August. Early August? That’s this weekend! There is no official date for the release, as it will probably be different for every dealership. We shouldn’t have to wait much longer though. We speculate that they will be arriving next week. The Plug-In-Hybrid model will not appear until September.

2016 GLE-Class Price

Like most other Mercedes-Benz models, there will be a wide variety of GLE trims available ranging from extreme efficiency to extreme performance. For the base model GLE350, you can expect an MSRP of $51,100. If you have to have the AMG model, called the GLE63 in this case, then you are probably looking at an MSRP closer to $107,100. Prices for the coupe have not been released, but they will probably fall in the middle of those prices somewhere.

We will let you know as soon as we have them in our lot so keep reading our blog. We won’t let you down. We also still have the M-Class, so now might be your last chance!
