Celebrate the season with local holiday events, festivals, and light shows

2017 Family-Friendly Holiday Events Scottsdale AZ

As the holiday season approaches, the Scottsdale area is getting the community in the spirit with several November and December celebrations. A proud member of the community, Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale put together three top picks for 2017 family-friendly holiday events in Scottsdale, AZ. Check them out below, then take family and friends to go experience the holiday magic.

Arizona Harvest Festival

The annual Arizona Harvest Festival fills downtown Chandler with 100 merchants offering a wide selection of products and services. The festival will feature a farmer’s market with local produce and artisan gourmet foods, jewelry, holiday items, home décor and furnishings, health and wellness products, and much more. The festival will also offer live entertainment, local beer, and fun for all ages with activities like a pumpkin toss, a pumpkin pageant, cornhole, a kid’s zone, and more. Admission is free.

When: Sunday Nov. 12 | 9 AM – 6 PM

Where: 178 E. Commonwealth Ave, Chandler, AZ

ArtFest of Scottsdale

One of the valley’s most popular holiday traditions, the annual ArtFest of Scottsdale, located downtown, features 150 artists from across the country—a perfect place to find unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays. The event will feature fine art, fine crafts, local authors, live music, and delicious food. There will also be hands-on activities for kids. Admission is free.

When: Saturday Nov. 18 – Sunday Nov. 19 | 10 AM – 5 PM

Where: Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza | 7380 E. 2nd Street, Scottsdale, AZ

Las Noches de Las Luminarias

For 21 magical evenings, the Desert Botanical Garden will be aglow with more than 8,000 hand-lit luminaria bags and thousands of white twinkle lights. The event will also feature live music with 10 unique entertainment ensembles, including Simply Three—a local favorite. Walk through the garden with family and friends and admire monumental sculptures, or enjoy a lovely dinner. Admission is $30 for adults and $12.50 for children, with children under three admitted free.

When: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Nov. 24 – Dec. 30 | 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
