Last year, Mercedes-Benz discontinued four models in order to introduce the GLC, GLE, SLC, and the GLS. Thanks to this, the Mercedes-Benz CLA is no longer the new kid on the block. In fact, to celebrate its success, Mercedes-Benz is giving the little guy some new features for the NYIAS release. The biggest of which is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA facelift.

A new grille does a couple things for a car. Most importantly, it keeps the look fresh, but it can also help with aerodynamics. The new CLA is able to breathe better because the grille actually guides air in and around the car, making it more efficient and more powerful.
It’s funny how something as simple as rims can dramatically change the look of a car. The new standard are 18-inch, ten-spoke AMG wheels that come in gray or black. As an option, drivers can upgrade to a 19-inch AMG cross-spoke option.
On the inside, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA gets new topstitching and two new color options; black and red or black and silver. To top it all off, a new DINAMICA performance steering wheel sits at the ready.
The shooting brake is not a design that will be available in the United States, but we are not sure why. It is a wildly popular wagon design on the other side of the Atlantic, but for whatever reason, Mercedes-Benz doesn’t want us to have it.
On March 23rd, the CLA will debut at the New York International Auto Show. We can also expect to see the new cabriolet versions of the S-Class, E-Class, and C-Class.
In the United States, the CLA will be available this fall. If you have any questions about the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA facelift or the car itself, leave a comment below!
