Driving a luxury automobile is meant to be a rewarding experience, something to aim for and to enjoy, and one of the most trusted names in that realm is Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz has long been an innovator, and that trend continues as shown by the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE features and specifications released by the company. Let’s take a deeper dive into the details.

Immediately upon seeing the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE, the bold, yet elegant, design captures the imagination. It evokes timeless beauty with its sophisticated craftsmanship, and it fans the flames of wonder. It’s not meant to just look pleasing, however—it’s meant to be functionally sound as well, with its long wheelbase, short overhangs, and large wheels ready to handle just about any terrain.
The façade is an exercise in power and distinction, and the ULTRA Wide Beam from the LED Intelligent Light System will shine the maximum amount of light intensity that is allowed by the law. The vehicle is lean and athletic, cutting a figure that allows for quality aerodynamics that will help the drive feel smoother and squeeze every ounce out of your fuel dollar.

When you climb aboard the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE, you’ll find a striking dashboard and a design that flows around you, providing comfort and convenience for each drive. What may be perhaps the most notable feature of the interior is the size. The 2020 model has a wheelbase that is just over 3 inches longer than its predecessor. The second-row legroom has increased by 2.7 inches, helping to ensure all passengers are comfortable.
Connectivity
Inside the 2020 GLE is the latest generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) multimedia system. Two 12.3-inch screens are arranged in such a way that it provides a widescreen feel, providing you with an easy-to-see display at your command. You can even choose up to four different styles on how the screens are displaying: Classic, Sport, Progressive, and Understated. If you choose to go with the optional MBUX Interior Assistant, intuitive movement recognition also comes into play, using a camera in the overhead area to see the movements of your hands and arms.
When the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE launches in the United States, different engine options will be available. The 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine on the GLE 350 and GLE 350 4MATIC® produces 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The GLE 450 4MATIC® will offer up a new 3.0L inline six-cylinder turbo engine with EQ Boost that delivers 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE looks to be another feather in the cap for the GLE lineup and the automaker, and we are looking forward to seeing its arrival in the States in 2019.
