Say goodbye to the Mercedes-Benz SLC with the snazzy 2020 SLC Final Edition. This sportscar lasted 23 years, and while we are sad to see it go here at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale, we are excited to see what the brand will come up with next. But first, here’s what you need to know about the last model of the Mercedes-Benz SLC
Did you know the SLC wasn’t actually called this until 2016? Before that, this model was known as the SLK. The name change was a tribute to the C-Class; a model with which the SLC shares many design features.
Now, the 2020 SLC has two Final Edition models; the SLC 300 and the AMG® SLC 43. The bottom trim comes in Selenite Gray, while the top trim nods to the first SLK model with its flashy Yellowstone color. This trim also has the AMG® 5-spoke 18-inch wheels that are glossy black and stand out starkly from the Yellowstone. On the inside, you’ll see black and silver pearl Nappa leather seats with gray stitching.
2019 Mercedes-Benz SLC 300 vs 2019 AMG® SLC 43
You’ll have 241 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque on the SLC 300, which can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour 5.8 seconds. The AMG® SLC 43 can accelerate 0 to 60 mph 4.6 seconds and have 385 hp and 384 lb.-ft. of torque
