How powerful is the 2021 Mercedes-Benz 2021 G-Class?

Take a peek under the hood of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz 2021 G-Class and you’ll find two different engines, depending on which trim you choose. Pick the G 550 and you’ll have a 4.0-Liter V8 biturbo engine that pumps out 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. This model can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 5.6 seconds. However, even with the impressive power this trim offers, you can still increase that power in the next trim up.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG® G 63 has the enviable Handcrafted AMG® 4.0L V8 biturbo engine that dominates the road with 577 hp and  627 lb.-ft. of torque. This power is the reason that the G-Class can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, despite its larger stature.
