The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS is a solid reputation for its spacious interior and powerful engine. So how much can this vehicle change your drive? To start off with, it has a 7,500-pound max towing capacity that allows you to bring more gear with you on your trips. But let’s take a look at what else is in this vehicle.

Towing capacity & power of the 2019 GLS

As we’ve said, you’ll have 7,500-pound max towing capacity. You’ll have this towing capacity on all three trims of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS. This means you’ll have a solid towing capability no matter if you choose GLS 450 4MATIC®*, GLS 550 4MATIC®*, or the AMG® GLS 63.

Despite having the same towing capacity, you’ll see different power specs for the three trims. The lowest trim, or the GLS 450, has 362 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. The GLS 550 has 449 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. The top trim, the AMG® GLS 63 has 577 hp and 561 lb.-ft. of torque.
