If you’ve been watching the upcoming Mercedes-Benz vehicles, then you’ve probably heard about the 2019 A-Class Sedan. We’ve posted pictures, seen the new multimedia system, and checked out the driver-assist technologies. Now, it’s time to find out just how powerful this upcoming vehicle is.
The 2019 A-Class Sedan has a feisty top speed of 130 miles per hour. This is paired with a 2.0L inline-4 turbocharged engine. This engine will be standard on both the A 220 and the A 220 4MATIC® trims, and pumps out a sporty 188 horsepower and 221 lb.-ft. of torque.
The transmission on the A-Class Sedan is a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, also known as the 7G-DCT.

There are a lot of available technology features on the 2019 A-Class Sedan. Of these features, you can have the KEYLESS-GO® system, which allows you to start your vehicle with the push of a button, and you can also lock/unlock your car by simply having the key with you and touching the door handle.
The HANDS-FREE ACCESS® allows you to open your trunk with your foot. Nifty, right? Just move your foot under the back bumper in a kicking motion and it will open. Be sure to not accidentally kick your vehicle, though. You may laugh, but it can happen, and kicking your luxury vehicle is really won’t accomplish anything good.
We love questions here at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale, so if you have any then don’t hesitate to get in touch! Our team of experts would love to tell you more about this sporty sedan.
