Sift the salt, baking powder, and flour together and set them aside. Cream the margarine and sugar together until it becomes light and fluffy. Now, one by one beat the eggs in and add the vanilla extract.

Blend the sifted ingredients into this batter in small quantities and then roll into a dough. Set the dough on a plate and cover it. Let it chill for at least two hours.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and grease the cookie sheet. On a clean surface, dust out a little flour, take small dough quantities, and flatten it out using a wooden baton. Now use the cookie cutter to cut out the desired shapes. Remember to limit the dough to a ¼ inch thickness.

Place the shaped dough into the oven and bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until the edges turn brown. Remove the cookies from the oven rack and let them cool. Once cool, you can now decorate the cookies with buttercream frosting, tiny white pearls, or even crushed candy.
