The Ins and the Outs of Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance

Is my car covered under Mercedes-Benz roadside assistance?

Roadside assistance sounds like a service of the past, like a gas station attendant pumping your gas or checking under your hood. Actually, roadside assistance is still very much alive and all Mercedes-Benz vehicles come with it free of charge.

What if my warranty is expired?

If your warranty is expired, you aren’t entirely out of luck. First, all vehicles purchased from a Mercedes-Benz dealership prior to January 4th, 2011 are still covered under the roadside assistance program for as long as you own the vehicle. If your car is newer, you can always purchase an extended warranty at any time by contacting your local dealer (US!!!).

What is covered under Mercedes-Benz roadside assistance?

Roadside assistance is intended for emergency situations where you are stuck on the side of the road. Mercedes-Benz will cover common issues such as a jump start, flat tire replacement, and fuel delivery. If the vehicle in question needs to be towed, Mercedes-Benz will also cover this under the agreement that the repairs needed will be done at that specified dealership. If the repairs aren’t finished there, a $150 charge will be enforced.

Where can I use roadside assistance?

Anywhere! If your car is eligible, don’t be afraid to put Mercedes-Benz to work. There are no rules limiting how often it can be used either, just don’t abuse it. Use it when you need it.
