This week at the Detroit Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz unveiled an extremely limited edition Mercedes-Benz S-Class that won’t last ten seconds on the dealership floor when it goes on sale this spring. It isn’t the fastest S-Class available, and it certainly won’t be the cheapest, but it will feature the most interior luxury Mercedes-Benz has to offer as well as a few extra accents and plagues that signify the cabriolet’s rarity. If you are waiting for the Mercedes-AMG S63 4MATIC Cabriolet Edition 130 release date, you better hurry because Mercedes-Benz is only making 130 of these.

In the automotive community, Mercedes-Benz is often credited with the invention of the automobile in 1886. Whether or not this is the truth, 130 years has passed since the first automobile left the driveway. This is why there will be only 130 made and sold worldwide, making it highly desirable for collectors.
Like the custom top, the interior color is called Bengal red/black, unique to this edition. The interior will also feature additional carbon fiber accents that you won’t find in an S-Class outside of this special edition release.
The Edition 130 will be instantly noticeable on the street because it features a custom red fabric top that matches the custom leather interior.
Mercedes-Benz has so far kept silent about what the cost of the Edition 130 will be when it is released in spring. The price a standard 2017 Mercedes-AMG S63 is already north of $100,000. Because of this, we expect this special edition to break the $200,000 mark. This is the kind of car that you store in a safe, warm place for many years while you watch the value increase, so we don’t expect to see many on the streets. If you are hoping to be one of the lucky ones to purchase a 2017 Mercedes-AMG S63 4MATIC Cabriolet Edition 130, contact us at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale as soon as possible! Time is already running out!
