We may be jumping the gun a little bit, but certain German publications are calling Mercedes-Benz out for mentioning a long term goal of creating a separate brand for electric vehicles. Mercedes-Benz, like most other automotive companies, is putting a lot of money and effort into electric research. Not only in cars, but also for supplying energy to homes and communities. Although most of it is under wraps, Mercedes-Benz will likely expand this research in the next four years to eventually build separate factories for its electric vehicles.

Will you jump on the lithium-ion bandwagon or will you hold on to your V8 as long as possible? Let us know what you think!
