Some people think a choice has to be made between motorcycles and cars. Either you’re a car lunatic or you are a motorcycle nut, but not both! This common misconception is getting thrown off the boat thanks to a partnership between Mercedes-AMG and MV Motorcycles. Mercedes-Benz is not the first company to dip into the motorcycle market, but it will be one of the first to offer motorcycles and four-wheel vehicles in the same locations. That’s right, Mercedes-Benz dealerships will soon be set up to be MV Agusta motorcycle dealers as well. Just imagine, “Would you like a Brutale Dragster 800 RR with your Mercedes-Benz SL-Class purchase today?”

MV, which originally stood for Meccanica Verghera, is an Italian sport-bike manufacturer. Mercedes-Benz originally bought into the company a couple years ago but is has now announced an intent to sell the bikes alongside Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG vehicles. Right now, there are 40 independent motorcycle dealers around the United States that distribute MV Agusta bikes, one of which is located in Arizona.
MV Agusta makes performance motorcycles. You can’t get one with less than 115 horsepower and they range all the way up to 200 horsepower with the MV Agusta F4 RR, which can be thought of as the Mercedes-AMG GT S of motorcycles. On top of excessive power, they are also lightweight, stylish, and rare… for now. In total, MV Agusta makes eight different models, most of which have individual trim options. This means we’ll start seeing more variety on the road!
Mercedes-Benz has not announced when this implementation will take place, but we expect it will still be a few years before you can get one at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale. When they do arrive though, you can expect Mercedes-Benz to give BMW a run for the money. If you have any questions about MV Agusta in United States, leave a comment below and we will get back to you.
