For Mercedes-Benz vehicles, much like other car brands, tires may need to be replaced anywhere between 25,000 and 50,000 miles. A lot of factors can affect the longevity of your tires, including the brand, driving habits, and road conditions. A good rule of thumb is to do the “penny test,” where you place a penny in the groove of your tire with the top of Lincoln’s head toward the tire. If his head is showing completely, it’s time to get your tires replaced. If the groove of the tire is close to or right at the top of his head, you’ll probably need to replace them soon. Of course, you also want to make sure you’re getting routine tire rotations, about every 6 months, to help your tires wear evenly.
