Mercedes-Benz is always one to push the envelope, and this time with the help of Virgil Abloh, they have created an entirely new vision of what the MAYBACH brand could be with the Project MAYBACH. What is Project MAYBACH? We’ll tell you all about this concept car. In the past, the Maybach brand has been primarily associated with urban environments, with photoshoots against city backdrops being a common theme, but from the mind of Virgil Abloh, the Project MAYBACH concept recontextualizes the brand with an eye towards the off-road.

Additional design details worth noting are the small wheels, allowing for large side-walled tires, the cladding around the wheel wells, and the tubular roll bar that extends into a roof rack. This concept is also a 2-seater that is nearly 20 feet long and sports an all-electric drivetrain under the hood.
Is there an AMG® version of the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS?
Okay, we mentioned his name up there, but even if you follow Mercedes-Benz news intently, you may not know who Virgil Abloh is. He was instrumental in the creation of this concept, but he is not a regular Mercedes-Benz designer, that’s because he was a prolific fashion designer that passed away before the unveiling of this car that he designed collaboratively with Gorden Wagener.
