Are you curious what the future of transportation holds? Just take a look at the new Mercedes-Benz Vision UBRANETIC. From its modern styling to its futuristic size, this all-electric autonomous concept is impressive. But what exactly is it? The concept vehicle is essentially an over-sized minivan with seating for 12 people and 353 cu.ft. of cargo space. Not only can the URBANETIC be used to transport passengers, but it could also potentially deliver packages too.
In a few videos of the URBANETIC, Mercedes-Benz demonstrates the concept vehicle’s many special traits. These include a battery-electric drive for zero emissions, virtually noiseless mobility, a fully autonomous driving platform and the concept’s ability to transform simply by removing its top portion. While we are not likely to see something like the URBANETIC on the road for many more years, it’s still very exciting to get a glimpse into what the future of transportation might look like.
