2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG Pricing
Mercedes-Benz is making a lot of changes this year for the 2016 lineup. It is changing names of models and innovating its performance trims across the board. The M-Class is changing to the GLE-Class. The GLK-Class is changing to the GLC-Class. Are the people at Mercedes-Benz trying to confuse us? As it turns out, the reasons for the changes are to make things less confusing…In the long run anyway. The 2016 CLA45 AMG is to be released later this year and even though it is a carry-over model, it will also be undergoing some aesthetic, mechanical, and pricing changes. Read on for  2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG pricing information.
For starters, the design of the CLA45 is switching from a sedan to a shooting brake. This type of styling is not new. It has actually been around since the invention of the automobile, but hasn’t really been popular since the 1970s. It resembles a shorter station wagon with an aggressive stance. Mercedes-Benz hasn’t commented on it yet but we are sure it will add stability to the already nimble 2015 CLA45 AMG.
The 2016 CLA45 AMG will hold on to the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four banger engine that it had last year. It was the most powerful four-cylinder engine in the world last year, and will break its own record for 2016 with an increase in 20 horsepower. The transmission will also be tweaked a little bit to allow for faster shifts.
Last year, the MSRP for the CLA45 was $48,500. As you can imagine, the price will be going up a little bit to keep up with the market and to cover the extra costs for upgraded technology. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG pricing will start at an MSRP of $52,500. Stay tuned for release date information at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale.
