2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan Engine and Horsepower
The flagship Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan is entering a new generation for 2019 with enhanced power and extended driver-assistance systems. The refreshed 2019 C-Class Sedan will make its World Premiere at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show and will be available at U.S. dealerships by late 2018. New Powertrain
Under the hood, the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class sports a new 2.0L inline 4-turbo engine that delivers a thrilling 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The new engine offers an increase in 14 horsepower over the previous generation’s engine. The sedan’s engine is mated to a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission designed to deliver a dynamic and responsive driving experience.
Redesign
The 2019 C-Class Sedan received several updates for the new year, starting with a refreshed exterior design. The sedan is distinguished by a refreshed front end and a new LED headlamp and taillamp design. The front and rear bumpers have also been redesigned, and the model is equipped with AMG-line styling elements including a diamond radiator grille. The sedan also offers new exterior color options, including Mojave Silver Metallic and Emerald Green Metallic. Finally, the 2019 C-Class comes standard with 17″ twin 5-spoke wheels.
