The new Mercedes-AMG GT R is everything we could ever ask for from Mercedes-Benz. From the Green Hell Magno paint to the adaptive aerodynamics and Venturi-effect cooling systems, basically the only thing separating the GT R from an actual race car are the three extra seats surrounding the driver. All the speed and vomiting is obviously the main attraction here, but one of the coolest things about the new GT R is the resurrection of the panamericana grille that was made famous by the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Roadster! The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT R is the first Mercedes-AMG vehicle in history to have active rear-wheel steering, meaning all four wheels turn in conjunction with the steering wheel. The introduction of this also puts the GT R on a short list of passenger vehicles to ever be offered with similar technologies.
