Powertrain Specs
The 2021 E 350 is powered by a 2.0L turbo-four and has standard FWD, though 4MATIC AWD is available. The 2021 E450 sports a twin-turbo 3.0L I6 with the EQ Boost mild hybrid electric system and standard 4MATIC AWD. The AMG E 53 S and AMG E 63 S are technically parts of the E-Class line, but we won’t be discussing those much here. Just know that they feature standard 4MATIC AWD and powerful twin-turbo six and eight-cylinder engines.
2021 E 350
As mentioned above, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E 350 has a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine. It produces 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The FWD model is rated at 22/31/25 mph. The 4MATIC AWD model has similar numbers, clocking an EPA-estimated 22/30/25 mpg.
2021 E 450
Thanks to the mild hybrid electric system, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E 450 puts out a lot more power. It produces 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, which can be boosted to 383 horsepower and 567 lb-ft of torque with the EQ Boost activated. It only comes with 4MATIC AWD. EPA-estimated fuel economy comes in at 23/30/26 mpg.
