Labor Day Weekend Activities Scottsdale AZ 2016
Every year on the first Monday of September, we take a day off to recognize the sacrifices and contributions that we as a country have made over the couple hundred years. This year, that Monday falls on September 5th and there are few places we would rather be than Scottsdale AZ because our city is home to excellent fall weather, adventurous outdoor activities, and savory adult beverages. Here are some Labor Day Weekend activities in Scottsdale AZ that we think are the most worthwhile for 2016.
Golf
Golf is something we know very well at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale. We love the views and we can’t get enough of the wide range of options in the area. We recommend the Talking Stick Golf Club and the Arizona Country Club in the immediate area, but we are also hosting a golf outing for amateur golfers on August 29th at the Phoenix Country Club with lunch, giveaways, awards, and a chance to advance to the Western Sectional in North Carolina!
Canyoneering
If you aren’t yet familiar with the term and you love to climb, jump, and swim, you need to check out 360 Adventures in Scottsdale AZ. Take a tour where you get to rock climb, repel over bluffs, and swim through reservoirs! If you don’t want to get wet, they do have dry tours, but would your GLE SUV approve?
Beverages
Is there anything more relaxing than having a few drinks with friends and family after a long day in the sun? No, we aren’t talking about our complimentary coffee bar! In Scottsdale, there are a few places we would feel guilty for not recommending because they do cocktails better than anyone else in the area. Try the Beverly on Main for an energetic blast from the past or The Standard Kitchen & Cocktails just up the road from us for a more professional atmosphere. Whatever your plans, don’t forget appreciate the hard work that goes into providing all these awesome opportunities for us!
