Mercedes-Benz Apps mbrace Package Features
As an additional option available to add on to the starting package mbrace service, Mercedes-Benz owners can also receive the Mercedes-Benz Apps package. Like the PLUS package, it is included for free for the first three months after a new or used Mercedes-Benz is purchased. The Mercedes-Benz Apps package is largely entertainment based and it includes a long list of internet-based infotainment options.
For an additional $14 per month, Mercedes-Benz Apps can be added to the mbrace starting package. It can be purchased separate from the PLUS package or it can be purchased together for $28 per month on top of the $280 per year for the starting package.

Internet-based apps provide you with almost everything you can do with your smartphone. Many apps come with it, and others can be downloaded through the mobile app or by use of the COMAND Navigation System.
Google is of course a part of this package. Google Local Search allows you to not only find destinations, but also view them in Street View and even upload your own photos. Yelp also comes standard with this package to help find restaurants and read reviews. You can also use Facebook, read news articles, and even browse the internet freely when parked.
The Mercedes-Benz Apps mbrace Package doesn’t stop there. It uses traffic cameras to provide visual verification of traffic conditions in over 250 United States cities. You can also search for movie theaters and look up show times, locate gas stations and prices, and turn your vehicle into a WiFi hotspot. The hotspot will allow you to connect up to four devices at one time, which is great for road trips with a full car.
With all three packages, your yearly fee will be around $600. Not everyone will need every feature however, and we suspect that is why Mercedes-Benz offers three different packages that can be mixed and matched. As always, if you are interested learning more about the mbrace services, contact Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale.
