AMG® Track Pace
On the 2019 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 S model, AMG® Track Pace is a standard system included in the optional COMAND infotainment system. On the 2019 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 models, the Track Pace system is an optional feature.
When AMG® Track Pace is enabled and the vehicle is driving on closed-off race tracks, over 80 vehicle-specific sets of data are recorded ten times per second. Acceleration and deceleration values can also be measured and saved. The system also displays lap and sector times, as well as the respective difference for a reference time. Since specific display elements are shown in green or red, drivers can easily see whether they are currently faster or slower than the best time with a quick glance that won’t be overly distracting while driving.
Drivers can use the data from the AMG® Track Pace system to analyze or improve/refine their driving skills. The system’s data is displayed on the multimedia display, on the head-up display, and in the instrument cluster. The system’s map display can be switched from 2D to 3D and can be updated online. World-renowned race tracks are already stored in the AMG® Track Pace system, but drivers can also record their own circuits.
