The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is gathering a lot of attention for its new interior design and giant infotainment screens. DRIVE PILOT is an updated version of this software that can control the steering wheel to follow the vehicle in front of you. This makes driving on curvy highways a problem of the past, as long as you don’t need to go over 130Â miles per hour, that is.

The functionality of Mercedes-Benz DRIVE PILOT does not end with some simple follow the leader. The Steering Pilot function that DRIVE PILOT utilizes can also change lanes automatically. When turned on, all you have to do is turn on your blinker. If the lane next to you is unoccupied, your E-Class will carefully make its way into the new lane.
