What does the Mercedes-Benz Carwash Function do?
Luxury technologies run rampant in the 2020 GLS. Among these features is the Carwash Function. This is a new standard technology that features in the 2020 GLS. This will give you a variety of features to help protect your vehicle during a car wash. So, what do these features do? They will:
- Closes side windows
- Closes sliding sunroof
- Folds the side mirrors in
- Puts the suspension to as high as possible
- Turns off rain sensor information (because of this, the windshield wipers won’t activate)
- Activates the 360-degree camera to help the driver as they go into the carwash
- Climate control switches to air-recirculation mode
So, your GLS will adjust to protect itself when entering the car wash. This means you won’t need to worry about your car’s side mirrors and the rain-sensing windshield wipers accidentally snapping off.
