2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 Coupe vs AMG® CLA 45 Coupe

Power of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe

As you can see, there’s a bit of a difference in the power of the two different trims. While you’ll have a 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine for both vehicles, the AMG® CLA 45 is vastly more powerful than the CLA 250. That isn’t to say that the CLA 250 is weak; it has a perfectly respectable 208 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. However, you’ll see 375 hp and 350 lb.-ft. of torque on the AMG® CLA 45.

Likewise, you’ll have a 7-speed DCT transmission for the CLA 250, and an AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® DCT 7-speed transmission for the higher trim.You can see the difference in power by how fast the vehicle accelerates. The base trim can go from 0 to 60 in 6.9 seconds, which is pretty fast. Even so, this speed is cut dramatically in the higher trim, which can go from 0 to 60 in an estimated 4.1 seconds.
