There comes a time in your shopping experience when you need to ask yourself if the extra money is really worth getting that brand-new vehicle, instead of the previous year’s model. Sometimes, that answer is no, other times, it’s yes. We are about to find out if there have been enough differences made between the 2019 and 2018 versions of the Mercedes-Bens S-Class to help you figure out if you are more interested in the newest version of the S-Class, or if you are content with settling for the year prior. Let’s get started!
For this comparison, we are going to be focusing on what’s new for the two vehicles to see how much versatility and personalization you can find on the offered models of the 2019 and 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Take a look at the table below to find out what’s new on the 2019 S-Class.

So has there been enough of a change from the 2018 to the 2019 model? We think so. To start with, check out the luxurious 20-inch multi-spoke wheels that are newly available on the 2019 Mercedes-Maybach.
The Exclusive Edition for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class includes even more luxury than this already luxurious vehicle has. This includes things like the light brown high-gloss wood that draws attention to the sleek curves on the interior of the vehicle. This edition also includes a standard Burmester® Surround Sound System, seats with the designo® Exclusive Nappa leather, as well as designo® roof liner and sun visors that are made from the DINAMICA® microfiber, among other features.
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sedan hasn’t escaped having new features, either. Among them is an AMG® Wood/Leather steering wheel, or if you aren’t feeling the older-fashioned materials, you can check out the AMG® Carbon Fiber/DINAMICA Performance steering wheel.
You’ll also have two new interior color options on the Mercedes-Maybach; Savanna Beige/Black, and Armagnac Brown/Black.
So, you’ll have the opportunity to have new styles, colors, and features to make your vehicle stand out amongst the crowd in the 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Whether or not some of these features are worth it is up to you. If you have any questions about the other features of these two models, then contact us here at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale. Our team will be happy to tell you more about the S-Class.
