2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class vs 2019 Audi A8

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is well-known for being a desirable vehicle, especially with all of the luxury features it offers. But did you know it’s also pretty powerful in its own right? Advantages of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

As you can see, you can expect a faster acceleration on the S 450. While the Audi A8 does have a respectable 5.6 miles per hour acceleration, the S 450 can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds. That’s an improvement over the A8.

This faster acceleration is partially because the S 450 is a more powerful vehicle. You’ll have 362 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque on the S 450. While the A8 actually does have the same amount of torque, it does have noticeably less horsepower.

Despite this, both vehicles do have 130 mph as their top speed. However, if you are looking for a 9-speed automatic transmission, you’ll want to go with the S 450, which has the 9G-TRONIC® 9-speed automatic.
