Most of the differences between the 2020 Mercedes-AMG® 63 and 63 S Coupe originate in the power and performance specifications. In order to demonstrate, we are going to compare these two trims to each other. Hopefully by the end of this comparison you’ll have a fuller idea of which trim interests you the most.
To begin, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG® GLC 63 Coupe has an intimidating 469 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque. However, the AMG® GLC 63 S increases this power to a whopping 503 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. So, while both models have impressive power specifications, the AMG® GLC 63 S will probably interest thrill-seekers more than its lower trim counterpart. Even so, there are plenty of other things to enjoy in the 2020 Mercedes-AMG® GLC, including the AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9-speed transmission that both models share. Let’s take a closer look.

As you might expect due to the power differences, the AMG® GLE 63 S can accelerate faster than the AMG® GLE 63. Likewise, the top trim also has a higher top speed. Even so, the AMG® GLC 63 performs more than admirably with its 0 to 60 mile per hour acceleration time of only 3.8 seconds.
