2019 saw little change to the Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV here in Scottsdale, AZ. But with the 2020 model comes some great changes you may want to watch out for. Let’s see what they all are!
First off, you’ll have some great technology features that you couldn’t see in the earlier models. This includes the much-anticipated MBUX® multimedia entertainment system, which now includes a touchscreen display, center console touchpad, and touch control buttons. Each of these features helps to make your navigation of the entertainment system easy and convenient.
You’ll also have safety features and driver-assist features. These features include things like the Active Steering Assist, Active Stop-and-Go Assist, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC®, and the Active Brake Assist with Cross-Traffic Function. All of these safety features work together to potentially help you avoid accidents and other mishaps when you are driving.
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE doesn’t slack when it comes to its power and performance. As you may have already known from reading our blog or through other sources, you’ll have 6 trims; the GLE 350, GLE 350 4MATIC®*, GLE 450 4MATIC®*, AMG® GLE 43, AMG® GLE 63, and AMG® GLE 63 S.
If you start with the GLE 350, you’ll have 255 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, which gives you a 0 to 60 miles per hour acceleration of 7 seconds. These specs increase while the acceleration time decreases the higher trim you have, until you’ll end with the AMG® GLE 63 S, which has 577 hp and 561 lb.-ft. of torque and a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 4.1 seconds.
