The 2021 G-Class G 550 sports a birtubo 4.0L V8 that pumps out 416 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with 4WD. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a 12.3-inch digital gauge display, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, GPS-linked navigation, a 15-speaker Burmester surround-sound stereo, SiriusXM satellite radio, and two USB ports. Other standard equipment includes leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, remote start, an air purification system, a sunroof, and a 64-color LED ambient lighting system. Safety-wise, it has a pre-collision warning and braking system, parallel and perpendicular park assist, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, traffic sign recognition, driver attention monitoring, automatic high beams, and a rearview camera.
The AMG G 63 ups the ante when it comes to performance. It features an AMG-tuned biturbo 4.0L V8 that produces 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. It also adds a sport-tuned suspension, adaptive damping, high-performance brakes, and off-road driving modes. Other than standard wireless device charging, it has the same features and available options as the G 550 model.
