The S 500 is fully loaded. The S 580 is all about better performance. It switches out the supercharged six-cylinder in the S 500 for a biturbo V8 with a mild hybrid system that produces 496 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It can do 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. Additionally, it has a few exclusive available packages, including the Rear Seat, Executive Rear Seat, and Rear Seat Entertainment packages.
The name Maybach means ultra-luxury. The Maybach S 580 has the same powertrain as the S 580, along with every single standard and available feature for the 500 and 580 models. It has one available package, the Executive Rear Seat Plus package, which includes a four-seat layout, rear-seat center console, folding tray tables, and heated and cooling cup holders. An integrated refrigerator with champagne flutes is also available.
