For the GLE, there is only one Mercedes-AMG® trim level available and it is the GLE 53. Of course, you get all the same features on the other GLE trim levels along with the upgrades that the GLE 450 and GLE 580 add. The Mercedes-AMG® GLE 53 is actually not as powerful as the GLE 580 because it doesn’t use the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine. Instead, it uses an upgraded version of the 3.0-liter inline-6 engine found on the GLE 450. This time, it gets 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with an integrated starter generator transforming it into a mild hybrid and providing a boost of up to 21 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. With this ridiculous power, you can get an estimated 0-60 mph time of just 5.2 seconds.
